About This Hamper

Harrods is an institution. Situated in famous Knightsbridge, this store has long served the population of London, England, Great Britain, and the world beyond. People used to travel for days just to sample the delicacies within the Harrods’ Food Halls, and it was often a Christmas tradition that went unchanged for generations.

Much has changed – days of travelling turn into hours (or minutes, since the Internet came along), and the Food Halls have grown even bigger, even better, even more special. But a lot has also remained the same – the food and drink is still of the best quality, and people still love to shop at Harrods at Christmas time, in order to pick up the family’s annual hamper.

In the Harrodian hamper, there is just the same mix of modern and traditional. Moving with the times has been something that Harrods has never had trouble doing; this store has always been at the forefront of up to date shopping.

The Harrodian hamper contains thirteen bottles of wine and spirits, including the sumptuous Domaine Thierry Mortet Gevrey-Chambertin 2008, the top class Rémy Martin XO, and the Charles Heidsieck Brut Millésimé 2000. Wines to dine with, and spirits to relax with. A perfect combination.

The rest of the hamper is pure Christmas. Nuts, preserves, chutneys, a very special Christmas pudding made to the 1930s Harrods’ recipe, mince pies, cured meats, caviar, pate, biscuits, hot chocolate, tea, and coffee are all packed into this lovely leather trunk. Not only is the hamper full of gorgeous things, it looks stunning too!

Modern and traditional; the Harrodian hamper is the best of both worlds.
